Our Price Policy
Our highest priority at Le Chat Noir is to provide you with top quality products at reasonable prices. We base our prices on the cost of materials and the design time required for each piece that we make. We also strive to minimize your shipping costs, offering free shipping for jewelry orders over $50. We also give you a 15 percent price discount when you buy a matching set. We value our repeat customers highly. So, we also offer a 15 percent price discount for return customers on all future purchases after five purchases (excluding sale and close-out items) that total over $200. Our intention is to keep our prices as reasonable as possible. You, as a valued customer, can help us in this regard. We can maintain reasonable prices as long as our sales grow and remain strong. So, spread the word about Le Chat Noir jewelry to your friends and family and we'll be able to keep providing you with quality jewelry and other fine products at prices that you can afford!
Accepted Methods of Payment
We accept Paypal, Visa and Mastercard. We are sorry that we are not able to accept money orders or personal checks at this time. The most secure way to pay for merchandise online is through Paypal. Paypal is free to buyers. You can set up an account quickly and easily. Paypal also guarantees 100% protection against unauthorized payments. Wholesale Orders
We are happy to sell our merchandise to buyers who wish to offer it for resale. We require a minimum order of $200 for wholesale orders. If you are interested in buying Le Chat Noir merchandise for resale please contact us to discuss wholesale options.
Custom Orders
We are happy to consider custom orders. Please be aware, however, that because we specialize in one-of-a-kind pieces, modifications to or duplication of many of our multi-gemstone necklaces may not be possible (although it never hurts to ask). We do consider making original designs to order when possible. We enjoy custom work but it requires more time for communication, special ordering materials and fine-tuning the design. As such, custom orders require a pre-paid, non-refundable deposit for 50 percent of the cost of materials for the order. There is also a 20 percent surcharge to modify the original design once work on the order has begun. All custom order sales are final - no exchanges or refunds. No exceptions. Shipping Policy
Under normal conditions, we ship our merchandise so you will receive it in 7 to 10 days. Please allow more delivery time for copper trees, usually two weeks, as this product is made to order. We always strive to get your merchandise shipped as quickly as possible, however, shipping to certain locations (international) and during certain times of the year (e.g. Christmas) may take longer than 7 to 10 days. Our merchandise is shipped using Ground Service, i.e. USPS Priority Mail, where possible. Shipping rates are listed below. If you would like expedited or express shipping contact us to discuss shipping options and costs. Your merchandise will be shipped after your payment has been received. For fast payment, and thus shipping, we recommend that you use Paypal (click on link under Accepted Methods of Payment above to set up your Paypal account.) You will be notified by e-mail when your order has been shipped.

Return Policy
Our primary goal at Le Chat Noir is satisfied, repeat customers. We apoplogize if our return policy seems restrictive, however, now-a-days there seems to be a growing number of people who are, shall we say, less than honest. They buy clothing or jewelry in stores or on the internet, wear it for that special occasion, then return it for a full refund. Please be aware that we take great care in describing and photographing the merchandise on our website. All of our jewelry is handmade using natural materials. The colors may vary slightly from the photographs. When this is the case, we indicate so in the description of the piece. We also provide accurate measurements for all of our pieces. Please consider our descriptions and measurements carefully when making your choices. All merchandise is in perfect condition when shipped. We carefully hand pack your purchases to prevent any damage during transit. We stand by the quality of our merchandise and are confident that you will be happy with your purchase.
We accept returns if the merchandise is damaged in transit or is not as described on our site.(If this is not the case contact us immediately with your concerns and we will discuss the problems and possible options with you.) If this is the case, e-mail us immediately about your concerns. Return the merchandise in its original new and unworn condition and in its original packaging within two (2) business days (postmarked) of its receipt. Shipping charges are not refundable and customers are responsible for insuring returned merchandise. Le Chat Noir is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged returns that are not insured. You must return the merchandise by recorded delivery. We strongly advise our customers to obtain proof of posting when returning our merchandise. There is also a 15 percent restocking fee for undamaged merchandise that is returned to compensate us for the costs incurred in processing the original order and re-listing the merchandise when it is returned. We will issue a credit or refund provided that the item is in its original condition and packaging. Decisions concerning the condition of returned merchandise will be made by Le Chat Noir and are final. All credits or refunds will be issued against the account through which the purchase was made. We can only credit back the exact amount spent. No exchanges or refunds will be made on Custom or Wholesale Orders. No exceptions.
