This month, to celebrate Mother's Day, we are featuring two gemstones: clear quartz cyrstal and pineapple quartz (also called candle quartz or Atlantean Lovestar). Both of these stones make beautiful jewelry for dressy and more formal occasions. They both also have properties that make them very special gifts.

Clear quartz crystal is known as the greatest healer among semi-precious gemstones.  For those interested in spiritual pursuits, clear crystal quartz is believed to increase psychic energy and is a wonderful aid for meditation, visualization and inner harmony.  The first necklace on the right features a beautiful Swarovski clear crystal heart pendant.  It's the perfect uplifting gift for someone who is very close to your heart.  The necklace on the very bottom right is our full moon pendant.  It combines beautiful clear faceted quartz crystal and Swarovski clear crystals with vintage pearls.

Pineapple quartz is a very special gemstone for several reasons.  First, the coloration of the pineapple quartz we have used in our jewelry is particularly pretty. The interior of the stone has a beautiful pale blue glowing quality while the edges reveal a soft rosy orange glow. The second necklace combines different shapes of pineapple quartz with brass filigree and Art Deco accents.  The third necklace on the right features a pineapple quartz point pendant. If you click on the picture, you can go to the product pictures and see a close-up of the pendant with its pretty interior blue swirls and rosy glow around the edges. 

Second, besides its natural beauty, pineapple quartz also is believed to have attributes that make it a particularly desirable semi-precious gemstone.  Pineapple quartz provides the wearer with a gentle but persistant energy.  It is a stone known for healing and opening up the heart.  It is especially helpful to those suffering from despair, pain, headaches or depression.  It can also bring the wearer material abundance.

The earrings in the photos on the left also are made with clear quartz crystal, pineapple quartz or a combination of both.  The first photo presents the earrings that match the Swarovski heart necklace on the left.  .

The second photo shows the earrings that match the necklace on the left that features the pineapple quartz point pendant.  They combine clear crystal quartz, pale blue topaz and faceted pineapple quartz.  They can also be worn with other necklaces in our bridal and formal jewelry collection.

The third photo displays our unique crescent moon earrings.  These combine vintage pearls with clear quartz crystal, pineapple quartz and fine sterling silver.  They were designed to match both our full moon pendant on the right or our crescent moon pendant that can be found in our bridal and formal necklace collection.

The earrings in the bottom photo are made from vintage pearls and faceted clear quartz crystal briolettes.  The matching necklace and bracelet are included in our bridal and formal collection. These earrings also complement several of our more formal necklaces.
